Deep Hometown Ties! Chien-Yen and Chinta Jointly Donate Million-Dollar German Breathing Air Compressors to Support Firefighting Heroes
In appreciation of the selfless dedication of firefighting heroes, Chien-Yen Restaurant Group and Chinta Glass have joined hands to donate imported German high-pressure breathing air compressors worth over NT$1 million and certified by international standards, helping the Kouhu Fire Bureau in Yunlin County enhance its rescue efficiency.
The founder of Chien-Yen Restaurant Group is a native of Kouhu, and the founder of Chinta Glass is a son-in-law of Kouhu; both share a deep affection for their hometown. After gaining a profound understanding of firefighting and rescue needs, the two founders learned that local firefighters had to travel all the way to Beigang after disaster relief operations to use another squad's breathing air compressor. Feeling the severe inconvenience this caused, they decided to jointly donate brand-new, advanced, top-tier German high-pressure breathing air compressor equipment. They hope to assist the fire brigade in disaster relief and rescue operations, ensuring that rescues are even faster and more timely.
Enterprises Interpreting Social Responsibility Through Action
Li Kun-Lin, Chairman of Chien-Yen Restaurant Group, and CEO Lu Hsiu-Chun stated that, adhering to the corporate mission of "giving back to society and creating happiness," Chien-Yen Group is not only dedicated to providing high-quality dining services but also focuses on the practice of social responsibility. Operating in Taiwan for over 20 years, Chien-Yen Group gives back to society through various charitable actions, such as providing annual New Year's Eve dinners for low-income families in Kouhu and focusing on public welfare for skipped-generation families. This year, they have taken a step further by donating top-tier firefighting equipment, hoping to contribute to the public safety of their hometown.
Chairman Hung Jui-Chin, founder of Chinta Glass, pointed out that corporate growth should go hand in hand with social responsibility. Since its establishment in 1987, Chinta Glass has focused on the innovation and intelligent production of architectural curtain wall glass, and is currently investing NT$800 million to build a smart factory in Dounan, Yunlin. Chairman Hung emphasized that collaborating with Chien-Yen Group to donate advanced firefighting equipment is not only about supporting firefighters but also fulfilling a responsibility to their hometown. He hopes this action will inspire more enterprises and societal forces to jointly promote public welfare and inject more positive energy into society.
Local Government Expresses Gratitude for the Benevolent Act, Leading the Trend of Public Welfare
Kouhu Township Mayor Li Long-Fei stated that this donation has significantly enhanced the firefighting and disaster relief capabilities in the Kouhu area. It not only demonstrates a model of corporate give-back to society but also brings substantial benefits to the local community. He thanked Chien-Yen Restaurant Group and Chinta Glass for their support and affirmation of firefighting work. He also hopes this benevolent act will lead more enterprises and organizations to participate in public welfare, working together to strengthen firefighting and disaster relief resources, jointly protecting the lives and property of the residents, and building a livable and safe home for Kouhu.
