Clear Float Glass

Clear float glass is made by flowing molten glass through a control gate into a tin bath. Due to gravity and its own surface tension, it floats on the surface of the molten tin. It then enters an annealing lehr, resulting in a glass with smooth and uniform surfaces on both sides, entirely free of ripples.

Features:

  • Smooth surface without ripples, providing excellent visibility.
  • Flexible specification adjustments to minimize cutting waste.
  • Serves as the base material for various levels of deep processing.

Applications:

  • Architecture and furniture.
  • Automotive glass.
  • Photovoltaic modules and optical instruments.
